The rich history amidst the dark power that has surronded the walls of Baghdad, you will take the role of Basim and will fight against the dark order to bring back the stability in the beautiful city of Baghdad. Run, explore and find answers, that sums it up most of AC Mirage. However, there are some other interesting side quests to attend as well.
Following the main storyline, you will eventually go through a series of quests. And one of the most important quests you will come across is the Follow the Fiery Trail. Here, you will be given the objective to find the Caretaker of the Books.

How to Find the Caretaker of Books in AC Mirage
To find the Caretaker of Books, you will have to;
Get to the “House of Wisdom”
First, head to the House of Wisdom. It is located in the Abbasiyah region. Once you are there, notice a colored mark on the Western section of the area.
However, you may hear some people talking about something special as you go near the mark. A cutscene will occur in this part, and Basim will say that he needs to visit the second floor of the building.
Head to the Library
After the Cutscene, head to the second floor of the Library in the House of Wisdom, and you will be one step ahead of completing the task of finding the caretaker in AC Mirage.
Once on the Second floor, you will notice a balcony and a window. Jump on the Balcony from the window to easily get access to the Library. Once you are in the Library, visit the far Southern area of the Library, which is eventually the last section.
There, you may find the dead body of the caretaker, sitting on a couch. Interact with the dead body to get some clues to proceed further with the quest.
