Saddiq Bey took over the NBA World by storm with his gargantuan career high 51-point game against the Orlando Magic, which resulted in the Detroit Pistons taking over an easy dub, cruising past against the Magic. Bey and his performances now find the roots in his special liking for a movie character, loved by the entire world for his peculiar nature and ideals, which are linked to that of a “villain” in our world, therefore, having a great impact, just like the one Bey had through his performance.

The least that you can say is, Saddiq Bey exploded, and he exploded tonight in his performance against the Magic, where he singlehandedly managed to cause troubles for the entire rival team, breaking through their defence, and crushing their already low morale after a massive 42-point loss to the Brooklyn Nets, credits to Kyrie Irving, who scored 60 points against the team. The Magic cant get enough of taking blowouts from marquee players of every single team as they continuously suffer from massive loopholes in their defence, which are exploited by some players who don’t intend on leaving any opportunity unused, last time it was Kyrie Irving and this time, it was Detroit’s very own, Saddiq Bey.

Saddiq Bey could not be STOPPED… erupting for a career-high 51 points while knocking down a career-high 10 3-pointers to match!

Saddiq and his love for Batman’s archenemy Joker have seeped through the movie to his personality, and in fact even his appearance as the player has coloured a patch of his hair to green, and his reason behind that being, his love for the villain, and also his villain mentality. Like his patch of green hair, Bey wants it to be known that he can take over the game any time, just like his villainous inspiration Joker, and can turn around the game, when desired.

Let us now take a closer look at what happened in the game, what was Saddiq’ performance like, and what did he say regarding his love for the character Joker, which sometimes is his inspiration.

Saddiq Bey highlights his love for Joker, credits the latter for his villain mentality

Bey definitely was the villain for the Orlando Magic fans in the Pistons’ game against the Magic, where he singlehandedly managed to destroy the entire defence of the team, and help his team cruise past their rivals in a tough matchup. Well, the least that we can say is that the Pistons got the better of Magic that night credits to their sole performing player, Saddiq Bey, who credits his villain mentality which comes from the Joker character in the Batman movies for his massive performance against the Magic.

Saddiq was asked about the motivation for his villain mentality to which he said that it came from being a fan of the Joker, who is Batman’s enemy in the movies, and is always a menace to the hero and his society. Bey also went on to highlight that the cause of his green hair was also Joker, who has green coloured hair throughout the series of movies the character has been in.

Asked Saddiq Bey where his villain mentality comes from: Said it was from being a fan of the Joker. That's why he has the green patch in his hair.

Giving credits to the character, Bey led his team to a massive dub against the opposition as the player scored 51 points, 4 assists and 9 rebounds inside the 39 minutes that he played. Bey alone managed to destroy Magic’s defence in order to take his team to a victory, and then celebrated his villain mentality. In this process, Bey was supported by his teammate Marvin Bagley III who scored 20 points and then Isaiah Stewart who scored 16 points.

In an inadequate effort to get the win, Magic succumbed to the pressure put up by Bey. Orlando Magic were led by Franz Wagner who scored 26 points, following whom Terence Ross scored 17 points and then Moritz Wagner who scored 16 points.

Let us now take a closer look at the reactions people on twitter had to the statements made by Saddiq Bey.
