Karlie Kloss Does Yoga in Black Workout Gear
Karlie Kloss is a mom of two! The model and her husband Joshua Kushner recently welcomed their second child Elijah Jude and are also parents to Levi Joseph. Just weeks before the 31-year-old gave birth, she showed off how she was still active and working out by doing yoga in black workout pants with white stripes and a black sports bra. In a series of short videos and photos, Kloss did a variety of poses and looked beautiful, happy, and healthy. Here's how the supermodel stays in such great shape.
In 2020, Kloss answered fan questions for PEOPLE to promote her new health line of wheat and dairy-free cookies called Milk Bar, and revealed she eats one before working out. "Before a workout, I love a cookie! I go for one of my cookies for some energy. It's surprising, there's a lot of protein in the cookie because of the almonds that go into it. After a good workout, I love a good shake with almond milk and banana."
It's no surprise that Kloss eats a well-balanced diet. "I'm pretty basic," she stated while answering fan questions for PEOPLE. "When I cook I'm really simple and I like to use fresh ingredients and not to do much to them. I love to get fresh fish, vegetables and fruits from Whole Foods and grill. Especially during the summer, I love to use my grill."
Kloss enjoys cooking and shared her love of cool kitchen gadgets. "There are two things that I love. One is my KitchenAid stand mixer. My very first first paycheck with my modeling money went to my mixer, which I still have today! It's seen a lot of cookies in its time. The second: My mom gave me this new gadget called the Spiralizer, which I'm excited to try. It basically turns zucchini into spaghetti."
Kloss makes self-care a priority and part of her wellness routine is being outdoors. "Spending quality time outside is a big part of my overall wellness and personal happiness," she told Vogue. "This past year, I made it a goal to spend even more time outside. It's amazing how much fresh air and sunshine can uplift your mood."
In an interview with Paper, Kloss explained how running is one of her go-to workouts. "Oh, I love running. For the last decade and a half of my life, I've been living out of a suitcase and traveling for my job. I love that aspect of my life, or at least the way it used to be. But for me, no matter where I am, I always have to go for a run because all you need is a pair of sneakers. It's just to get outside and go, just a mental drive to push yourself to do it."
