Before going to the Love Island house, Allen was sequestered in a hotel room. She was without her phone, so she decided to do some exercises. Allen tells The Sun that she did bodyweight exercises in her room. "I didn't have weights with me and there was no chance of going to a class, so I invented my own high-energy bodyweight workouts."
Allen's wellness routine is all about consistency. She encourages her followers to do the same. She tells The Sun, "If you stick to the plan, in four weeks' time you'll have toned up your legs, have more visible abs and drop a dress size. You will feel more confident both in and out of your clothes. It won't be easy but it will be worth it."
For Allen, working out isn't about losing weight. It's about getting healthy. And she encourages her clients and followers to do the same. She tells The Sun, "The best thing anyone can say to me is, 'You look healthy'. Not, 'You look skinny'. Healthy is the best look. It comes with a glow and a bounce, because happiness is far more important than your physical shape — it's a feeling inside."
In addition to her fitness routine, Allen also has an eating plan. She tells The Sun that she doesn't recommend going on diets, and focuses on preparing healthy meals. "I learned the hard way that complicated diets are not sustainable. With these meals, there is no need for calorie counting (they are naturally lower in calories) or miserable weigh-ins that make you feel bad. And you will still be able to go out and have a laugh."
Allen likes to do HIIT workouts. She shared some of her favorite exercises in a live YouTube video with Women's Health. In it, Allen is seen doing exercises like knee hugs, lunges, and squats. Allen aims to do HIIT workouts that don't cause a lot of straining on your body. "The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer," says St. Clair Health.
