Monica Denies Carrying On An Emotional Affair With C-Murder While She Was Married

Other than his brother, Master P, there has been no other public figure gunning for the release of C-Murder from prison than Monica. However, she denies carrying on an emotional affair with the rapper while she was married to Shannon Brown.

Monica has made it abundantly clear that she has been Corey Miller’s ride or die. Even getting into an online exchange with Master P where she revealed that she visited and sent him money.

The singer has been posting cheeky responses to fans who say that she’s waiting for him to get out to rekindle their flame from before his arrest.

The Verzuz star wants to make one thing clear — she wasn’t with him when he got arrested for allegedly committing murder and she did not have an affair when she was with her ex.

Explaining to Kenny Burns on his V-103 show, Monica said: ‘The idea of the ‘relationship’ of it — of course, that’s how we knew each other but we weren’t together when he was arrested. And we weren’t together during incarcerated but that never changed out friendship. It was kind of unfair when other people got brought up. For instance, my ex-husband, I never did anything disrespectful in that light. And every time I went to New Orleans, he would too.’

As for now, it seems like as a single woman, she will be ready to see if her first real love is her true love.

She also spoke on bringing Kim Kardashian in on the case. Monica did her research on both Robert and Kim Kardashian as well as why the reality star is choosing to go into criminal reform before presenting Kardashian with the overwhelming evidence that Corey did not kill Steve Thomas.

‘I wasn’t trying to discredit anybody else. I did not know Kim well. I knew her in passing. Before reaching out, I researched. I researched her father. I researched why this is a desire of hers.’
