Photos of the Plywood Palace, or John Hancock Tower in Boston's historic Back Bay District. The building had many design flaws when constructed, including many windows falling out and shattering in the street below. Plywood was used to fill the empty window spaces temporarily, which prompted the famous Plywood Palace nickname.
