Publish date: 2024-07-22

Song Yadong is a skilled UFC bantamweight title contender, ranked #8 at 135 pounds. He recently faced a harrowing ordeal during a late-night drive from San Francisco to Sacramento.

The night started innocently with a quick stop for water. In a candid account, Song disclosed, “It was the first time I had ever been held at gunpoint”. He recounted how he and his friend were on their way back to Sacramento after a night out in San Francisco. Feeling a bit intoxicated, Song craved water during their drive. They searched for a gas station and ended up at one brightly lit establishment.

However, fate had a darker plan in store. As they arrived at the gas station, they were unaware that four individuals were lurking, waiting to commit a crime. “They weren’t following us; they were waiting for a victim,” Song Yadong revealed. He notes the robbers’ deliberate attempt to conceal their identities with hoods and obscured license plates.

While Song’s friend stepped out to buy water, he was suddenly confronted by the armed assailants. They wasted no time in demanding money, his wallet, and his necklace. The situation quickly escalated when one of the robbers used the handle of his gun to strike Song’s friend.

Their punishment for when they get caught should be having to go 5 rounds against Song Yadong in the cage

Song, stay OUT of liberal cities like San Fran, New York, Seattle, etc.

Get to states like Texas and Florida where the cost of living is affordable and police are empowered to keep law and order

The 25-year-old fighter definitely faced a traumatic experience. Song trains at Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, and had already faced disappointment when he had to withdraw from his Octagon return at UFC 292 in Boston.

This distressing incident has only added to his challenges. Song Yadong’s resilience inside the Octagon is commendable. This real-life confrontation serves as a stark reminder that even the toughest fighters can find themselves vulnerable to dangers beyond the ring.
