How to make Strawberry Margaritas (frozen or on the rocks)

This easy cocktail is made in a blender. You can make a thick and slushie frozen margarita or you can serve it over ice.

Here’s what you need:

How to make frozen margaritas

To make frozen margaritas: use frozen (unthawed) strawberries and add a couple cups of crushed ice to the mixture in your blender.

TIP: Since the ice will dilute the frozen margaritas a bit, I recommend adding an extra splash of alcohol. Taste it as you prepare it and adjust accordingly.

Notes

*If preparing your margarita on the rocks, use fresh strawberries or thawed frozen strawberries. If using frozen strawberries, I recommend measuring them before thawing. *If preparing frozen margaritas, use frozen strawberries (still frozen). Adjust all ingredients to suit your taste. This makes a mildly sweet margarita. If you want it stronger, increase the tequila or orange liqueur. If you want it sweeter, increase the syrup and/or orange juice. To coat the rim of your glass in sugar or coarse salt: Rub the rim of the glass with a lime wedge or a little water. Place salt or sugar on a plate and dip/twist the rim of the glass into the salt or sugar.
