Tougher the childhood, tougher the kid, Colin Cowherd VICIOUSLY slams WR Noah Brown for abs

Publish date: 2024-07-26

C.J. Stroud is currently one of the brightest young players in the NFL. The Ohio State QB was drafted second overall by the Houston Texans and massive hype is created around him. Texans WR Noah Brown recently made a comparison between him and Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott over their leadership skills. Although, the comparison wasn’t suited because of their age; it sparked a massive debate in mainstream media.

Colin Cowherd spoke about the same comparison in the recent episode of The Herd and pointed out the inaccuracies in it. Interestingly, Cowherd believes that Stroud is a more talented QB than Prescott. However, Prescott’s journey will always make him superior to the Texans rookie QB.

According to the NFL analyst, Stroud had a much easier journey than Prescott. The former was drafted 2nd overall with a good college program, while the latter was drafted in the 4th round and had to fight his way to the top.

“Tougher the childhood, tougher the journey, tougher the kid,” Colin Cowherd stated on the Herd. “Is he as mature as Dak? Is he as tough as Dak? Does he have the leadership skills of Dak, Dak is rated very highly on intangibles.”

Arguably, Dak Prescott had a tougher journey in the NFL compared to C.J. Stroud. However, that doesn’t deny the Texans QBs abilities with the ball and how his future in the league will turn out.

Dak Prescott had a tougher journey than C.J. Stroud

According to Colin Cowherd, the personal journey of an athlete determines his greatness in the NFL. In essence, Dak Prescott had a much tougher journey than C.J. Stroud. While Prescott was struggling at Mississippi State with average receivers and an average O-line, Stroud was making waves with 5-star O-line recruits and an amazing set of receivers.

Cowherd also believes that the roles have been reversed in the NFL. The Texans QB doesn’t have a decent O-line with him and the Houston-based team is still in transition.

On the other hand, Dak Prescott has maybe one of the best teams in the NFL. With all things considered, Cowherd believes that C.J. Stroud will be a decent quarterback in the NFL and currently he doesn’t see the aspect of greatness in him. However, time is often ever-changing and maybe the young QB will develop the much-needed resilience and skill to dominate.
